Being spiritual means having a connection with the Divine. In spirituality people read holy books, they learn how to be kind, loving and compassionate. People need to become spiritual that will help them be better human beings. I am a spiritual person, I don't go out to do what is wrong and I try to live in peace and in harmony with the world. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) recognizes that spirituality can be beneficial for mental health, particularly when integrated as a resource for coping, meaning-making, and social support. While traditional CBT is secular, it has evolved to include Religiously Integrated CBT (RCBT), which uses a client's spiritual beliefs to challenge negative thoughts and develop positive behaviors.
