We are taught to blindly believe in Jesus. Luckily I learned about skepticism. If I had not learned about skepticism I would have continued believing in Jesus, turning the other cheek and taking shit from others. Knowledge is liberating. Turning the other cheek means not doing anything when you are harmed. Turning the other cheek is allowing the abuse to continue. Instead of turning the other cheek I defend or protect myself peacefully by keeping my distance. I call that peaceful self defense. Being by myself nothing happens to me. When I used to socialize and I used to practice the teachings of Jesus and I was always available helping others for example I had a lot of bad experiences with people. What does that tell you? That the teachings of Jesus are wrong. He even said to gouge out your eye and cut off your hand.
